Hamish McGonagall is by the sire Namid out of a Danehill mare (Anatase). In his first season as a 2-y-o he has been placed on four separate occasions and finally earned a well deserved victory at Musselburgh on the 8th November over 5 furlongs. He finished an impressive five lengths clear of his nearest rival.
He will now be given a break and return next season as a 3-y-o.

Sand Maiden is by the sire Desert Prince out of a Diesis mare (Maka). She ran at Beverley on the 11th September in the GMTV Nursery, over 7 furlongs, finishing 6th of 16. She stayed on strongly in the final furlong to finish just outside the places.
She will return next season as a 3-y-o and should prove to be a nice middle distance runner.
